Below you will find a collection of videos in various languages prepared by Refucomm regarding the following aspects of the asylum process in Greece:
- General information about asylum in Greece
- The asylum Interview
- The admissibility interview
- Appealing an asylum rejection
- Family reunification
Whilst they are very useful as a general introduction, they are not intended to be a replacement for the direct legal assistance provided in person to refugees by legal professionals. Please also be aware that the law changes, and whilst the information here would have been accurate at the time of publication, aspects may now be outdated.
If you currently reside on the Island of Lesbos and are considering applying for asylum or require legal assistance in the defence of any of your rights, please come and visit our legal centre, which is based in Mytilini, within the Mosaik Centre, which can be found on the corner of Saphos and Arianos. All migrants on the island from any nationality and at any stage of their procedure are welcome to visit during our office hours for legal assistance, Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm. We have interpreters in Arabic, Farsi and French.
